摘要

Simple analytic formulas are given for calculating the signal of an optical sensor located on a satellite or on the earth's surface in terms of the optical reflectance of the earth and the parameters of the atmosphere. These formulas are derived by introducing an a priori angular dependence of the brightness of sunlight scattered by the atmosphere. It is shown that the effect of the atmosphere is significant for satellite observations, but also for ground-based measurements of the surface spectral reflectance.
