摘要

This research tested five squat aerated concrete block walls under horizontal cyclic loading after reinforcement. The experiment was divided into 5 groups. One wall was not reinforced. Two walls were reinforced with rebar bed joint reinforcement and the last two walls were reinforced with shape memory alloy in horizontal mortar. The destruction of aerated block wall form, maximum transverse load, the performance of energy dissipation, stiffness and so on mechanical properties are analyzed. The significance of this study shows the enhanced performance of the squat aerated concrete block walls with shape memory alloy reinforcement.
