Asymptotic Properties in a Delay Differential Inequality with Periodic Coefficients

New criteria are proposed for investigating the asymptotic behavior of the delay inequality %26lt;br%26gt;u%26apos;(t) %26lt;= -a(t)u(t)+b(t)u(t-tau) %26lt;br%26gt;and the corresponding differential equation %26lt;br%26gt;x%26apos;(t) = -a(t)x(t)+b(t)x(t-tau), %26lt;br%26gt;assuming continuous and periodic coefficients, . Our strategy requires conditions on coefficients in average form. The presence of impulsive effects is also considered.
