摘要

In this paper, dynamic features, failure mechanism and dynamic responses of un-strengthened reinforced concrete (RC) cylindrical columns in explosion have been simulated with the software ANSYS/LS-DYNA and compared under different blast loadings. Based on the two typical failure modes, three ways of strengthening with CFRP were adopted in explosion simulation analysis and the blast resistance under different strengthening manners was compared. Calculation results demonstrate that the columns locally wrapped with CFRP with optimal design can have similar antiknock properties with those fully wrapped, with significantly decreased displacement under explosive loading and improved load carrying capacity and local failure resistance. The analysis results provide theoretical foundation for blast resistance design of concrete structures.
