摘要

A new all optical 10-tap microwave filter is proposed using a broadband amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) light source and a single specially designed multiwavelength FBG. Measured results show that the sidelobe suppression is larger than 20 dB. The filter response is insensitive to the polarization state of light. This technique enables one to obtain a simple and low cost photonic microwave filter with a stable response.
