The mineral composition of clayey raw material from 48 deposits in Ukraine with commercial applications is studied. It is determined that the mineral composition of clays affects the properties of ceramic materials based on them. Diagrams in which mineral composition regions for clays with free quartz mass fraction from 30 to 50% which are suitable for the production of wall and fa double dagger ade ceramic obtained at killing temperatures 950 - 1050A degrees C are constructed.
