Direct and fixed point approaches to the stability of an AQ-functional equation in non-Archimedean normed spaces

In this paper, using the direct and the fixed point methods, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the following mixed additive and quadratic functional equation f(kx+y) + f(kx-y) = f(x+y) + f(x-y) + (k-1) [(k+2) f(x) + kf(-x)] (k >= 2 is an integer) in complete non-Archimedean normed spaces.
