摘要

Data hiding is to conceal the existence of secret data. In this paper, an efficient data hiding scheme is proposed for color images by utilizing a 3-order normal magic cube. First, a 3-order normal magic cube is constructed by reference to the magic cube theory. Then, the secret digit is concealed into the pixel by adjusting the R, G and B components of the cover pixel. The amount of adjustment can be obtained by calculating the offset between the coordinates of the secret digit and the magic cube characteristic value of the cover pixel in the decomposition model of the constructed magic cube. Moreover, the embedded secret data can be extracted without access to the original cover image. Experimental results have demonstrated that the proposed method not only makes the stego-image quality degradation imperceptible but also provides a high embedding efficiency.
