摘要
Three-layer pipeline coating systems are commonly used because of the excellent adhesion properties of the fusion-bonded epoxy, water impermeability, and mechanical resistance of the polyolefin. This article describes a disbondment failure that occurred on a 24-in (610-mm) gas pipeline in Mexico and the steps taken to determine the root cause of the failure.
