摘要

A compact low profile multiple-arm folded wire antenna is presented. Broad bandwidth covering 30-115 MHz (VSWR < 3) can be achieved by means of lumped elements loading between arms and a simple high-pass matching network. The proposed antenna has a low profile of only 0.4 m (4% of the wavelength at 30 MHz). Simulated results show that the radiation efficiency is larger than 13% in lower band and 60% in its upper band. The simulated radiation characteristics of the antenna are validated by comparing the radiation gain of the proposed antenna with that of conventional monopoles.
