摘要

Aiming at the weakness of FAST TCP preferences guideline, a FAST TCP network congestion control time-delay model, consisting of window update period parameter and exponent filter element, is presented in this paper. By analyzing the conditions for characteristic roots of its transcendental equation, which lie in the left-half plane, an improved preference guideline is proposed to ensure the stability of the FAST TCP, which is based on controller gain parameter, window update period, and the network relevant parameters. The theoretical computation and NS2 simulation results demonstrate that the proposed guideline possesses more accurate selecting range and more extensive application as compared to other relevant guidelines.
