Rhodium hydrido chloride pincer complex RhH(Cl)[2,6-(Bu(2)(t)PO)(2)C(6)H(3)] was synthesized and used for the preparation of new complexes with labile two-electron ligands Rh(L)[2,6-(Bu(2)(t)PO)(2)C(6)H(3)] (L (-) MeCN or S(CH(2))(4)) and complexes with small molecules, such as CO, O(2), H(2), and N(2).
