All-order polarization-mode dispersion (PMD) compensation via virtually imaged phased array (VIPA)-based pulse shaper

We demonstrated all-order polarization-mode dispersion compensation using a virtually imaged phased-array-based transmission pulse shaper. We reduced the pulsewidth of polarization-mode dispersed pulses from more than 100 ps to their original 15 ps.
