A conformal mapping method and partial capacitance techniques are used to derive simple and accurate closed-form expressions of odd- and even-mode capacitances and characteristic impedances for a C-shaped microshield broadside-coupled coplanar waveguide (CMBCCPW) with buried ground strip. Numerical results are compared to those provided by other authors. Good agreement is obtained.
