摘要

This paper presents a wideband power divider (PD) with a high level of harmonic suppression, wide stop band bandwidth, arbitrary power division ratios, miniaturized dimensions, and high power-handling capability (PHC). The proposed structure consists of five open stubs to suppress the second-to forth-harmonic frequencies, two grounded resistors for better PHC, one resistor between output ports for enhancing the bandwidth of the circuit, and six branch line sections. Derivation of closed-form equations has been performed for the parameters of the proposed structure. The circuit has the flexibility in choosing the values of two load resistors to determine the bandwidth and the level of PHC. To demonstrate the features of the proposed PD, four different examples of the structure are conducted. Furthermore, for verification purposes, two prototypes of the PD with different power division ratios are fabricated and measured at 1 GHz. Meanwhile, the PDs have power division ratio of k(2) =1 and k(2) = 1.5. The simulation and measurement results have good agreement with each other and confirm the theoretical procedure. This new structure is suitable for wideband, miniaturized, arbitrary power division ratios, and high power applications.
