An attempt to develop a mathematical model for the simultaneous growth of the gas pore and the solid phase in gasar technology was offered in the paper "A theoretical study of Gasarite eutectic growth". Unfortunately the paper incorporates mistakes which have led to erroneous results and incorrect conclusions. In order to rectify this, the most important ones are analyzed by the authors.
