Analysis on Network Communication Research Status in China in Past Decade: A Research in the Way of Co-word Analysis

This work analyzed the research results of network communication since ten years ago with the methods ofcluster analysis, multidimensional scaling analysis, andmapping knowledge domain analysis based on co-word analysis. The conclusion is that the research state of network communication is like that two fields and two edges of domains. Two fields arepan-social sciences research field and pan-natural sciences research field. Two edges of domains are information resource management study and network opinion study. Pan-social sciences research field has clear theme, which has tended to mature. Pan-natural science research field is so immature that needs to be further dug. Information resource management and network public opinionhave been the heated issues of cross-disciplinary research.
