摘要
Dye-sensitized solar cells(DSCs) have attracted remarkable attention due to their high efficiency, environmentally friendly and low cost.As an indispensible part of DSCs, the counter electrode(CE) plays a crucial role in high efficient DSCs.Therefore, it is significant to develop advanced CE materials for high-performance DSCs.Our previous work demonstrated that tantalum-based oxides as CEs exhibited remarkable catalytic properties for the reduction of I3- in DSCs.In the present work, we successfully synthesized novel tantalum-based oxides FeTa2O6, CoTa2O6, CuTa10O26, and these oxides as counter electrode materials exhibit excellent electrocatalytic activities for the Cu-mediated electrolyte, further, these tantalum-based oxides counter electrode applied in the DSCs with Y123 and D35 dye adsorbed on TiO2 photoanode exhibits comparable power conversion efficiency to Pt-based DSCs at the same condition.
