摘要
We reveal here the unique reactivity of alpha-(alkylideneamino) nitriles toward molecular oxygen. Thus, alpha-(alkylideneamino) nitriles can serve as the imide building block for the efficient synthesis of imides in the absence of transition metals under extremely mild conditions.
