摘要

To its credit, Craig Keener’s Spirit Hermeneutics focuses attention on the presence of the Spirit in the church’s interpretation of Scripture, drawing extensively on the groundbreaking work of Pentecostal and charismatic scholars whose work has long deserved to be highlighted. But questions remain about Keener’s pneumatology, his grammatico-historical method, his doctrine of revelation, and his account of spiritual experience. In this paper, the author asks those questions and seeks to spell out answers to them, showing how Pentecostals can and should receive Keener’s offering as gift.
