摘要

The dynamic behavior is an important index to evaluate the aseismic property and structural damage of a historic pagoda. On the basis of the study on protection technology of Jinaozhou Pagoda, the key points and schemes for appling ambient random excitation technology to determine the dynamic behavior of an ancient masonry pagoda were introduced. The test scheme for Jinaozhou Pagoda was verified by comparing its results with those of the finite element software Strand7. The similarities and the differences between them were discussed and the causes were analyzed. All the results could provide a valuable reference for eternal protection, reasonable development and utilization as well as measurement of similar ancient pagodas.
