Astrophysical S factor, logarithmic slope of the excitation function, and barrier distribution

Employing the quantum diffusion approach, the behaviors of the capture cross section, mean square angular momentum, astrophysical S factor, logarithmic slope of the excitation function, and barrier distribution have been determined for the recently measured reactions Ni-58 + Fe-54 and Ca-40 + Ca-40 at deep subbarrier energies. The calculated results for the reactions Ni-58 + Fe-54, Ni-58 + Ni-58,Ni-60,Ni-64, Ca-40 + Ca-40, Ni-60 + Y-89, and S-32,S-36, and Ca-40,Ca-48 + Zr-90,Zr-96 are in a good agreement with the existing experimental data.
