摘要

In order to find ideal solvents for natural gas vehicles (NGVs), data on the high-pressure solubility of methane in benzene-cyclehexane, n-heptane-benzene, n-heptane-cyclehexane at temperatures from 288.15 K to 318.15 K and pressures from 2.00 MPa to 12.00 MPa were collected with a self-established apparatus that measured the solubility in a circular way. Calculation of fugacity coefficient of methane in gas phase with the Peng-Robinson cubic equation of state showed that the methane fugacity and the solubility satisfied the linear equation well. The equations represented the experimental data well over the complete temperature and pressure ranges, in which the ternary data of experiments correlated with the calculation from the binary data in literature. The study indicated that the ternary gas-liquid equilibrium (GLE) data can be estimated based on binary GLE data in literature.
