摘要

KMM sequence was presented as a potential sperading code for CDMA (code division multiple access) system with RAKE receiver. Based on a RAKE receiver modeling, the performance of CDMA system with RAKE receiver was analyzed, and the properties of PN sequences that are suited to such system were described. The advantages and disadvantages of KMM sequences as spreading codes for such system were stated. The cross-correlation functions between m sequence and KMM sequence, and the average bit error rate corresponding to both the sequences and Gold sequence using correlating receiver and RAKE receiver were compared. The feasibility of KMM sequence as spreading codes for CDMA system with RAKE receiver was verified.
