摘要

Purpose: To report the development of a delayed massive suprachoroidal hemorrhage after Descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty (DSAEK).
Design: Retrospective case report.
Results: A 70-year-old woman with a failed graft for keratoconus underwent DSAEK in the setting of continued systemic anticoagulation. On the first postoperative day, she experienced a massive suprachoroidal hemorrhage. Despite surgical drainage, the donor graft subsequently failed, and vision declined to light perception.
Conclusions: Massive suprachoroidal hemorrhage may occur as a rare complication of DSAEK.
