摘要

According to the characteristic of small spacing tunnels, the finite element models with various tunnel sections have been established. The comparative analyses of their surrounding rock stabilities during construction were made;and the basic mechanical characteristics of large-section twin tunnels with small spacing have been pointed out, which differs from that of two-lane twin tunnels. Analytical results show that the influence of tunnel spacing and rock grade on surrounding rock stability is dramatically different corresponding to various tunnel sections. Under the same condition of tunnel spacing, the mechanical state in three-lane twin tunnels is much more inferior to that of two-lane twin tunnels. Accordingly, the smaller the tunnel spacing, the worse the surrounding rock grade, and the more significant the difference. In addition, the worst position of mechanical state in large-section twin tunnels and small-section twin tunnels are the upper part and middle part of inter-space rock in weak surrounding rock, respectively. The results can be for reference in the design and construction of large-section twin tunnels with small spacing.
