摘要

With the growing number of foreigners in China for the purposes of tourism, study, trade or work, it is necessary to provide them with suitable knowledge support for smoothly fulfilling their daily tasks. The difficulties are how to match the changeable user requirements with suitable knowledge support when the input string is different from the records in the database, where the classical exact matching does not work. In this paper, we present a matching algorithm for context-based knowledge support. Filtering related support items, calculating the similarity between DP and SP and selecting the Top-N suitable support items are the main components of this algorithm, which can overcome the deficiencies of failing to match knowledge items or matching unsuitable knowledge items exiting in an exact matching method. The result shows that this matching algorithm is efficient in matching demand and supplying knowledge by providing the Top-N suitable knowledge support for a user based on the user';s needs and contexts.
