摘要
This paper presents a multi-mode resonator-fed broadband filtering antenna. The resonator used in the design not only increases the impedance bandwidth of the antenna, but also introduces multiple radiation nulls in the gain response. The locations of these nulls can be controlled by the lengths of the loading stubs of the resonator. All these nulls make this antenna realize sharp roll-off rates both in Sit and gain. To suppress the second harmonic of the antenna a microstrip photonic bandgap (PBG) structure is introduced on the feedline. A prototype is designed, fabricated and measured. The simulated and measured results agree well.
