Nickel(II) and iron(II) complexes with 1-(2(4)-chlorophenyl)benzothiazolylformazans

Novel nickel(II) and iron(II) complexes with 1-(2(4)-chlorophenyl)benzothiazolylformazans L and L' of the general formulas ML(2) and ML'(2) were obtained. According to X-ray diffraction data, the coordination polyhedron MN(6) is a distorted octahedron. This geometry of the coordination polyhedron is determined by the nature of the complexing metal.
