摘要

In this study, the adaptive muscle fatigue model based on human physiology is examined according to the recorded electromyography (EMG) signal. This model uses the raw EMG signal without any signal processing steps as in our previous model. However, it utilizes fuzzy logic rather than genetic algorithm. To demonstrate its capability, we conducted a measurement experiment on 50 volunteers. We measured the EMG signal that commands two muscles, namely, biceps and triceps brachia. We also investigated the relation between muscle fatigue and human age. The proposed model utilizes artificial intelligence methods to implement these factors in one package. This model can perform several complex mathematical calculations and thus save on time. Moreover, the proposed model is a general one that can provide different implementations for different muscles.
