A new species of larval Marantelophus (Acari: Prostigmata: Erythraeidae) parasitic on insects from China

The genus Marantelophus (Acari: Erythraeidae) is reported for the first time from China. Marantelophus dubifurcatus sp. nov. is described based on larvae parasitic on Cacopsylla sp. (Hemiptera: Psyllidae) and Psocoptera collected from southwest China. An updated key to the species of Marantelophus around the world is presented.
