Application of microwave in the synthesis of nucleoside analogues

Nucleoside analogues have attracted more and more attention as their outstanding antiviral and anticancer bioactivity. Comparing with conventional methods, microwave assisted nucleoside synthesis has great advantages. Herein the application of microwave in the synthesis of nucleoside analogues in recent years is summarized. And the development of some important synthesis reactions of nucleoside analogues using microwave are introduced.
