摘要

The paper aims to evaluate the grape distribution efficiency in wholesale markets. A face-to-face questionnaire interview was conducted in seven wholesale markets in Beijing and the interval DEA model was employed to calculate grape distribution efficiency. The evaluation results show that the descending order of grape distribution efficiency of the selected seven wholesale markets in Beijing is: Xinfadi > Jinxiudadi > Dazhongsi > Shimen > Baliqiao > Huilongguan > Qinghe. The findings indicate that the characters of wholesalers and the features of wholesale markets may influence the distribution efficiency. The study proves usefulness of the interval DEA model as a tool in evaluating the supply chain efficiency under dynamic economic environment. The findings also provide useful implications for wholesalers and governments to improve distribution efficiency of grape.
