摘要

Nd-Fe-B permanent-magnet rotor is used in a 42V automotive generator. The theory of voltage stability for the permanent-magnet rotor generator is expounded with the relation of armature-reaction reactance, winding leakage reactance and load terminal voltage versus generator speed analyzed. A voltage stabilizer with five-phase semi-control bridge rectification is developed, which integrates the functions of voltage stabilization and current rectification and is composed of reference circuit, comparator circuit, trigger circuit and rectifier circuit. With the voltage stabilizer, the problem of output voltage instability in 42V permanent-magnet generator at wide ranges of speed and load of vehicle is solved.
