摘要
Contamination of the soils with heavy metals represents one of the cardinal issues of the metallurgical plants. The total area of the soils, contaminated with heavy metals and metalloids in the region of the Eliseina plant is nearly 1700 ha. This is a result of the intensive work of the plant and the exploitation of cleaning facilities with low effectiveness and reduced environmental control. The aim of the present work is to analyse the current state of the soils surrounding the plant with X-ray fluorescence analysis.
