Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring with nonzero identity, let a be an ideal of R, and let M and N be two (finitely generated) R-modules. We prove that is a minimax -cofinite R-module for all i %26lt; t, t a , if and only if is a minimax -module for all i %26lt; t. We also show that, under certain conditions, is minimax (t a ). Finally, we study necessary conditions for to be -minimax.
