摘要

2,3-Epoxy-1-phenyl-3-[(un)substituted phenyl]-1-propanones were synthesized in 79%similar to 99% yields via the epoxidation of chalcones with aqueous hydrogen peroxide catalyzed by KF adsorbed on basic alumina. In comparison with typical methods, this environmentally friendly procedure has several important features including mild conditions, no side reactions and high yields.
