摘要

Austenitic stainless steel of AISI304 has been widely used in the fields of metallurgy, machinery, military, and astronavigation due to its good mechanical properties, easy fabricability, and corrosion resistance at lower temperature. But the oxidation losses of AISI304 are very large upon reaching 900degreesC. A composite antioxidation coating was made by roasting. The technology of coating making was investigated and the coated samples were tested by thermogravimetric analysis and quenching in the air. ne viscosity, XRD analysis, and petrographic analysis of the coating were studied. According to the results, the forming mechanism of the coating was studied.
