On taking a positive operator-valued measure (POVM), we introduce nonclassical measurements, together with nonclassical phenomena, in a manner similar to that applied to nonclassical states. The quantitative measure of nonclassicality for the measurements is also defined, and any projective measurement is shown to be nonclassical. When the regularization process is applied to a projective measurement, it becomes a POVM measurement, and its nonclassical measure decreases to vanish at the end.
