摘要
A cocoon attached to the body of an adult weevil of the family Ithyceridae in Burmese amber was identified as a member of the subfamily Euphorinae Foerster, 1862 of the family Braconidae. This discovery represents an early record of adult-insect parasitism (imagobiosis) by Hymenoptera and indicates that weevils are ancient hosts of euphorine braconids.
