Atopomyckus gen. nov. along with A. longieornis sp. nov. (Coleoptera: Endomychidae) from Ecuador is described and illustrated. Its placement within the subfamily Lycoperdininae is discussed. A key to genera of the Neotropical Lycoperdininae is updated.
