摘要

An efficient procedure is presented for solving the eigenvalue problem corresponding to the free vibration of structure-acoustic systems. The proposed algorithm is based on projecting matrices of the eigenvalue problem on the Krylov subspace in a way that even though the mass and stiffness matrices are unsymmetric, the resulting matrix is a symmetric tridiagonal one. Moreover, it is shown that the presented method contains half arithmetic operations for solving this particular problem compared with the two-sided Lanczos algorithm used in ANSYS. It seems that the proposed technique is an ideal alternative to be adopted for determining coupled modes of structure-acoustic systems.
