Parafoveal retinal holes (PRHs) are one of the complications that can occur after internal limiting membrane (ILM) peeling during macular surgery. Here we describe a patient in whom an exceptionally large PRH (1,069-mu m dia.) was successfully closed by repeated autologous ILM transplantation.
