摘要
By signing the Kyoto Protocol on 17 February 2009, Turkey must plan the usage of its energy sources in order to satisfy the requirements of the protocol and reduce its emissions to the levels indicated in the protocol. With this study the position of Turkey with respect to EU countries depending on energy resources in terms of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions was presented by using data envelopment analysis. In the model considered in the performance study, the amount of the usage of the main energy sources was taken as input while the total amount of GHG emission was taken as output.
