摘要

Pure Pr6O11 ceramics were prepared according to the conventional process sintered at different temperatures and obvious non-ohmic characteristic was observed. The theory that potential barrier formed at the grain boundary is the origin of this non-ohmic characteristic was confirmed using a complex impedance spectroscopy, and capacitance-voltage analysis indicated potential barrier formed at the grain boundary is Schottky-type barrier. By combining the X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) technologies, a grain boundary defect model analogous to band model was proposed to interpret the non-ohmic characteristic, and it is consistent with the experiment results.
