Nilpotent extensions of Furstenberg transformations

We study topologically recurrent cocycles of a class of minimal homeomorphisms on tori, usually called Furstenberg transformations, and with values in nilpotent locally compact second countable groups. We prove that these cocycles fulfil a regularity property and admit a partitioning of the skew product into orbit closures.
