This paper is to evaluate the cutting technologies for decommissioning of the large cylinder parts in the major components of nuclear power plants. Physical characteristics of the large cylinder parts were analyzed and alternative cutting technologies of the large cylinder parts were evaluated. An optimal cutting technology for decommissioning of the large cylinder parts in the major components of NPPs was suggested.
