A new multi-channel echo cancellation algorithm

摘要

Conventional stereophonic AEC (Acoustic Echo Cancellation) methods work by estimating the impulse responses of local room. This problem has no unique solution. Due to the strong correlation between the input signals, these algorithms converge very slowly and their misalignment is very large. So they are not effective. Based on SHOO blind deconvolution algorithm, a novel AEC scheme is proposed in this paper. Contrary to above algorithms, new algorithm works by estimating the impulse responses of distant room and overcomes above problems. Furthermore, it is not necessary for new algorithm to choose step size parameter. Compared with conventional AEC, the new algorithm converges very fast and very effective.
