摘要

To overcome the sub-harmonic oscillations in switching converters with conventional trailing-triangle modulation (also called as symmetrical trailing-triangle (STT) modulation), asymmetrical trailing-triangle (ATT) modulation method was proposed in this paper. Digital V2 controlled buck converter with ATT modulation was studied and its stability was analyzed. It is pointed out that conventional trailing-edge modulation, leading-edge modulation and STT modulation are special cases of ATT modulation. Based on its modulation principle, ATT modulation method avoids the sub-harmonic oscillation and thus keeps the controlled system stable. Simulation and experimental results show that the control performance of digital V2 controlled buck converter with ATT modulation is better than that of the one with STT modulation.
