A novel method for fabrication of Ti24Zr10Nb2Sn alloy oxide nanotubes-chitosan nanocomposite films

摘要

We report the fabrication of nanocomposite film by a novel and simple method. Oxide nanotubes were grown on Ti24Zr10Nb2Sn alloy by well-known electrochemical anodization. Then, solubilized chitosan was poured on nanotube surface, the evaporation of the solvent led to the formation of the chitosan film on the nanotubes surface. This new film formed links with the nanotubes strong enough to create a composite film that was self-removable from the alloy surface. Moreover, the nanotube array had a specific arrangement on the chitosan. This film can be used in many applications, as known, mainly in catalysis, biomaterial and drug release systems.
